New -The Zenith
is a Sport intermediate wing rated EN C for the ambitious XC pilots searching
for glide and speed without compromising safety.
It replaces the
Tecno but maintains the same famous
handling and stability in accelerated flight meanwhile the glide and speed is
simple amazing for its class. More details soon.........
The Tecno is an advanced intermediate suitable for a wide range of
paraglider pilots. It has an excellent glide, even at high speeds, and is a
veritable tour-de-force when it comes to long transitions against headwinds and
valley breezes, making it possible to achieve those big-distance XC flights.
However, the greatest feature of the Tecno is its high level of safety making it
well suited for the recreational weekend pilot as well as the serial competitor.
The Tecno excels is turbulent air; its new cutting-edge profile and the
balance of inner aerodynamic tension across the wing give a smooth ride even in
rough conditions. The floating reinforcements of the double leading edge (S.A.S)
have an even better definition than the Tempest. They are smaller, improving the
airflow around the wing and increasing collapse resistance.
The Tecno turns incredibly tightly and efficiently, so you can exploit
every thermal bubble and fly with your wing tip almost touching the slope, to
make the most out of every single bit of lift. The speed bar is light and
direct, giving a very high top speed whilst maintaining an excellent glide.
 |
New profile, which is very solid
with the aerofoil thickness moved forwards to reduce over-pitching and
give outstanding levels of safety. Optimized tension across the leading
and trailing edges, to improve general balance and turn radius. Cell
width reduces across the span, towards the tips. There are two kinds of
diagonal ribs, depending on the thickness and width of the cell. No
external seams on either top or bottom surface. No intermediate cells. |
| The line layout has been optimised to
drastically reduce the total line length, greatly reducing total drag -
especially at high speeds. Fully-open, ultra-high definition leading
edge; the SAS also makes the L/E extremely rigid. This makes the Tecno's
incredible balance of high safety, top performance and consummate
handling the cream of the crop amongst intermediate wings. |
