GoPro’s HD Helmet HERO is the world’s highest
performance wearable 1080p HD video and still photo camera. Professional
quality 1080p / 960p / 720p HD resolutions record at 30 and 60 frames per
second (60 fps in 720p). Record up to 2.5 hours on a single charge and up to
9 hours total on a 32GB SD card (not included).
The camera can also shoot automatic 5MP photos at 2/5/10/30 and 60 second
intervals during your activity, hands free. Press the shutter button once at
the start of your activity and record up to 2.5 hours of poster-print
quality photos of you and your friends, living it up.
Included are mounts for attaching the camera to three helmets and two pieces
of gear or vehicles, as well as a head strap allowing you to wear the camera
like a headlamp. You can also pull this strap over helmets for easy camera
sharing between friends. One of the above mentioned helmet mounts is a
lace-through strap-mount designed for vented helmets.
The HD Helmet HERO is compatible with all other GoPro HERO camera mounting
accessories, so it’s very easy to expand the functionality of your camera to
also suction cup to vehicles, clamp to bike handlebars and seat posts, mount
to surfboards, and even be worn on the wrist or chest.
Waterproof to 180’ / 60m and protected from rocks and other hazards thanks
to its removable polycarbonate housing. Replacement housings and lens kits
are available, making repairs or refurbishing your HD HERO camera affordable

Full HD Video
1080p, 960p, and 720p in 30 and 60 fps (720p). The HD HERO line of
cameras offers three different HD resolutions, giving you three filming
modes to capture the best angles for any given activity:
1080p: 1920x1080 True HD featuring a 127º angle of view, 30
fps, and 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio
960p: 1280x960 Ultra Wide and Tall HD featuring a 170º angle of

5MP Photos,
Automatically
HD HERO cameras can shoot hands-free, 5 megapixel photos automatically
at 2 / 5 / 10 / 30 / and 60 second intervals until the batteries die or
the SD card is full (2.5 hours). Or set it to single shot, triple shot,
or self timer for more traditional photo taking.

Lithium-Ion, Built in Battery Warmer
The rechargeable 1100mAh lithium-ion battery (included) lasts for 2.5
hours of constant recording. It can be recharged to 80% capacity in just
2 hours when plugged into a computer’s USB port, or in 1 hour when
plugged into a USB compatible wall or car charger. Camera can also be
used while charging...handy on road trips where it’s fun to leave the
camera rolling. Camera also features an integrated battery heating
system for keeping your battery warm in winter activities.

world’s smallest, wireless helmet and gear-mountable video camera for
outdoor sports.
The Helmet HERO Wide quick-release attaches to vented and non-vented
helmets, bikes, kayaks, skis, snowboards, and even includes a head strap for
wearing like a headlamp. Features the industry’s widest 170º wide angle lens
and 5 megapixel sensor for the most immersive point of view video and photos
possible from a wearable sports camera, period.
Shoot 56 minutes of high-resolution video and 5 megapixel photos
automatically in "photo every 2 seconds" mode. Use as a hand held camera,
too. Shockproof and waterproof to 100 feet/30 meters. Sets up in seconds and
is easily moved between different mount locations.
Based on the best selling original Helmet HERO camera, this updated 5MP
Helmet HERO Wide camera features improved video, photo, audio, and low light
performance. Reliability in ultra-high vibration environments has been
improved with an entirely new internal circuit design. Battery life is
improved to 3 hours of video record time when using Lithium batteries and 2
hours when using NiMH rechargeable batteries.
Four quick-release adhesive mounts, a vented helmet strap, headlamp style
head strap, and associated accessories are included. Adhesive mounts are
removable but require purposeful removal by user. Safe on painted surface.
Additional expansion mounts available separately, including handlebar/seatpost,
chest harness, roll bar, and surfboard mounts. More mounts are always being
developed for your convenience.
Works with a 2GB max SD card. 4GB SD card compatibility, allowing for 1 hour
52 minutes of continuous video recording, will be available soon via free
downloadable software upgrade from GoPro.
