The Windy is
a 12m wing for ground-handling
which is one of the most important aspects in learning paragliding.
Thanks to the small surface the pilot can
practice ground-handling and canopy control even in strong winds with
total safety, therefore the training school will lose less days because
the weather conditions. This wing is very easy to control and the pilots
will not be dragged backwards and the instruction progression will be
much faster than with a normal wing. The Windy will help with the brake
control and body-weight input to anticipate glider reactions and prevent
collapses when flying with normal wings. This wing is not designed for

APCO’s Flight Deck
resembles
other cockpits, but has some unique features which makes it
more user friendly and convenient. Top part is designed to hold flying instruments.
The floor is velcro to keep the instruments in place and the floor angle
is adjustable for optimal viewing possibilities. The instruments are covered
with a padded flap.
The bottom part (ballast bag) is designed as a separate compartment.
It can be zipped on to the top part or left off, depending on pilot's need
or preferences. So if it is not needed for carrying ballast or other
equipment, it can just be zipped
off.
Additional storage space (pocket) for maps and documents is built in to the flight deck with zipped
